Articles submitted should be original contributions and should not be under consideration for any other publication at the same time. If another version of the article is under consideration by another publication, or has been, or will be published elsewhere, authors should indicate this clearly at the time of submission.

Manuscripts should be typewritten on one side only and double-spaced with ample margins. American spelling and punctuation should be used throughout (E.g., Recognize, not Recognise, color not colour). All pages, including notes (numbered at the end), maps, references, tabular material and appendices, should be numbered consecutively.

All diagrams, charts and graphs should be referred to as figures and consecutively numbered. Tables should be kept to a minimum and contain only essential data. Each figure and table must be given an Arabic numeral, followed by a heading, and be referred to in the text. Manuscripts should be attached as Microsoft word format.

Details of the author's institutional affiliation, full address and other contact information should be included on a separate cover sheet. Manuscripts should be submitted to Alternatives journal via e-mail to [email protected]
