The aim of Alternatives is to publish
high quality scholarly research on international political, social, economic
and legal issues. The journal publishes two types of articles: "Articles"
and "Essays". "Essays" are extended opinion pieces
on a current topic of major interest, and are succinct with a clear line
of argument. "Articles" are traditional scholarly articles.
The journal also publishes research notes, book reviews, review essays,
notes.Alternatives features a lively exchange of views and
therefore publishes critical comments and responses as well. Alternatives
aims to provide a major platform for the study of non-western approahces
in the discipline. Alternatives is open to any contribution
from different "worlds" in the context of breaking down the
barriers between the worlds of academia, journalism, government and business. |
